In memory of my grandfather Detlef Foljanty: he fulfilled his role, to my grateful satisfaction. He maintained and nurtured his blog for as long as he could, and could not resist trying to continue even beyond that.
I firmly believe that this blog preserves his thoughts and way of thinking, so we can still benefit from his very personal charm.
There is surely much to say about him. That is why I want to give everyone the opportunity to share memories, obituaries, and reflections. Below I link obituaries that have already appeared; a dedicated section for contributions can be added after review and approval.
His wish would have been for these texts to remain accessible: open, readable, and enjoyable for the whole world.
